Last summer, Shayan Razi was invited to attend the 49th Annual Natural Hazards Workshop and Researchers Meeting in Boulder, Colorado, where he received the Rising Star Award from the North American Alliance of Hazards and Disaster Research Institutes (NAAHDRI). Presented by the Natural Hazards Center and Dr. Lori Peek, this award recognizes early-career researchers demonstrating outstanding promise in the field of hazards and disaster research.
